About Us

Who We Are:

The Lone Star Fireworks Festival is a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly celebration that brings together pyrotechnicians from across Texas and beyond to showcase their craft in spectacular fashion. From dazzling close-proximity effects and massive aerial shells to choreographed pyromusicals, flame effects, fireballs, and cutting-edge drone displays—this event is unlike anything else.

But it's not just about the fireworks. We're proud to support a meaningful cause: The Sherwood and Myrtie Foster’s Home in Stephenville, Texas. 100% of net proceeds goes directly to the Foster’s Home, and we make sure the children, house parents, and staff are part of the magic. As honored VIP guests, they enjoy a complimentary dinner and get hands-on with the show—launching shells, firing effects, and experiencing the thrill of being pyrotechnicians themselves.  It’s more than a festival. It’s a celebration of community, creativity, and compassion.

The Lone Star Fireworks Festival operates under Stasey Field, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. That means every sponsorship not only fuels the success of this unforgettable event and supports the Sherwood and Myrtie Foster’s Home—it also qualifies as a tax-deductible charitable contribution.

Our History

The Lone Star Fireworks Festival began in 2018 as a small pyrotechnic club gathering with a big heart. From the very beginning, proceeds from admissions were dedicated to supporting the Sherwood and Myrtie Foster’s Home for Children in Stephenville, Texas.

In 2021, a passionate group of pyrotechnicians from across Texas came together with a shared vision: to create an event that not only showcased their talents and innovations, but also made a meaningful impact. Thanks to the generosity of the Stasey family, the B Bar S Ranch—specifically Stasey Field—became the home of the Festival.

As the event's popularity soared, it became clear that Stasey Field could no longer accommodate the growing crowds. In 2022, the Festival expanded to include a free Friday night demonstration, featuring fireworks from sponsoring companies and the thrilling Blind Pyro Competition. That same year, the main event moved just 100 yards down the county road to a larger area on the B Bar S Ranch, while Friday night festivities continued at the original Stasey Field.

Despite its growth, the Festival remains deeply committed to its founding mission: to provide a family-friendly experience that directly benefits the Foster’s Home for Children. By 2024, the Festival had raised over $122,000 for the Home, with that year alone bringing in a record-breaking $46,700 and welcoming an estimated 6,000+ attendees.

The Lone Star Fireworks Festival is proudly powered by the support of local businesses, organizations, pyrotechnic companies, and individual enthusiasts from across the country. Their sponsorships make everything possible. We work hard to keep costs low so that every dollar raised can go further!
